Conductor, composer and arranger, Dimitri Soudoplatoff is a graduate of the CNSMDP in composition and of the HEM in Geneva in conducting, and a laureate of the Leenaards Foundation. He is passionate about musical creation, having studied with his mentors Thierry Escaich, Fabien Waksman, Guillaume Connesson and Marc-André Dalbavie.
A cellist by training, he has composed and arranged for prestigious institutions and artists including the Orchestre National de France, the Santa Cecilia Orchestra, the Geneva Chamber Orchestra, Alexandre Tharaud, Ophélie Gaillard and Rossy de Palma.
Dimitri Soudoplatoff teaches Music Theory at the Haute Ecole de Musique de Lausanne (HEMU) and the Haute Ecole de Musique de Genève (HEM).
